Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Saam graduated first in her class at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia and went on to complete an additional three years of specialty residency training at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. Interests include sports medicine, biomechanics, and pediatric foot problems. Through years of competitive running and Nordic skiing, Dr. Saam has first-hand knowledge of the aches and pains experienced by athletes. She races regularly and competes on the women’s 50’s national cross-country running team for Club Northwest.
